I love this! I just did my first on-the-trip travel album/journal/smash (whatever the title dujour is...)for a family reunion. It was awesome to come home with a nearly complete album. You have some really fun ideas that I plan to incorporate in our next trip. Thank you for the flip through. Very inspirational! Found you from Pinterest.

I love the 8 x 10 pages. I will have to use that. Loved the patches too. Great ideas! Thanks for sharing!

Hey Melissa! Didn't 7 gypsies have cable rings? I think they were only 1 1/2 inchies, but you can get cable keyrings on amazon. They're flexible, and cheap. Might help the book lay flat.

Nice compilation of your travel experiences... and nice photos too. I'll be making a journal like that too.

Melissa - I came across this and your Tips blog recently, and wanted to let you know I just LOVE your style and technique. I've taken many trips with my best friend, and I've tried journaling by hand, journaling by e-mail, and taking photos (hundreds now when it's digital). But I seldom re-read my journals, and I only journaled for a couple of trips. Still have hundreds of photos. Your ideas are so practical and fun that I'm going to do it on the trip we're taking this summer. Thanks for such great inspiration! Darla

(Sorry! Meant to say I only did a photo album once or twice. Darla)
